1. What happens to your input
The JSON tools on this site run entirely in the browser using the built-in JSON parser and serializer. When you press Format, Minify or Validate, the text in the editor is read from the page, processed in memory, and written back to the same page. No network request carries that text anywhere.
The tools also do not place your input in the page URL, in a cookie, in localStorage or sessionStorage, or in any analytics event. If you download a result, the file is created locally by your browser and saved to your device.
2. Information not collected
This site does not ask for, and does not collect: names, email addresses, account credentials, payment details, the contents of the tool editors, or any profile information. There is no sign-up form and no newsletter.
3. Server logs
The site is served as static pages by a hosting provider. Like any web host, that provider may record standard technical data for each request — IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL and response status — for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement. Those records are generated by the hosting infrastructure, are not linked to anything you type into a tool, and are retained according to the provider's own policies.
4. Cookies and local storage
This site's own code sets no cookies and writes nothing to localStorage or sessionStorage — your editor contents are never stored.
One third-party script is loaded: the Google AdSense loader. Through it, Google may set or read cookies in your browser and receive technical data such as your IP address and user agent, which it uses for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement. Those cookies belong to Google, not to this site, and are covered by Google's own policies. No personalised advertising is served in regions that require prior consent; that choice is handled by Google's consent management tools in AdSense.
5. Analytics
No analytics or session-recording service is installed. The site does not use Google Analytics, Plausible, or any comparable product today. Should analytics be added, this policy will list the provider, what it measures and how to opt out before it is enabled.
6. Advertising
This site loads the Google AdSense loader script so that Google can verify ownership of the domain and review the site for advertising. The script is the only third-party code on the page.
No ad unit is displayed yet: the reserved positions in the layout render nothing until an ad unit id is configured, and an empty placeholder box is never shown. When ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure them, and may process data as described in Google's advertising policies. You can review and adjust personalised advertising settings through Google My Ad Center.
7. Third-party links
Some pages link to external resources, such as documentation or specifications. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them. Following a link is entirely your choice.
8. Children
This site is aimed at software developers and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
9. Your choices
Because the tools do not collect personal data, there is nothing stored here to access, correct or delete. You can use the site without providing any information at all. Standard browser controls — blocking scripts, clearing site data, using a private window — apply as they would on any other site.
10. Changes to this policy
Any material change — adding analytics, enabling advertising, introducing accounts — will be reflected here, and the date at the top of the page will be updated. The policy is written to describe what the code actually does, so it changes only when the code does.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy can go to the address listed on the contact page. General information about the site is on the about page.
